Right now it supports .WSZ files like a dream. :) Would love to be able to have it skinnable with the .WAL type of winamp skins as well ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Hope you're doing well, developer! Thank you again for all of your hard work!
Wishlist / Play Next feature

Would love it if there was a way to right click on a track in the playlist window and be able to click "Play Next", similar to what Apple Music does in its playlists. :)
Wishlist / Possible to sort files by date added?
« Last post by LlamaOSX on March 06, 2022, 11:24:52 AM »

First of all, thank you for the wonderful app. I noticed that you can sort the mp3s by filename and randomize, but I sometimes find myself wanting to play the most recently added files. Is there already a solution for this? If not, it would be a good addition.

Not entirely sure how file system api works in swift but each file in the directory might have a date added property, which can be used to sort. But it's probably more complex than that I'm sure. Would be great if you could consider this. Thanks!
Wishlist / Opening audio file from Finder adds it to reAMP's playlist
« Last post by FileWagon on January 31, 2022, 01:39:52 PM »
I am THRILLED to have finally found an audio player for Mac OS bringing all the great ideas of Winamp into a new age and new platform. This will save me so much time and effort. Thanks!

In classic Winamp there was an option to "enqueue" files which meant that they got added to the bottom of the playlist when you clicked the file in Finder. Default behaviour for reAMP is playing the file immediately. Is it currently possible to make a setting where files are added to the playlist instead of immediate playback of clicked file? I have looked through reAMP's Preferences without finding this setting.

I am so glad I found this software. A big thank you to the developer.
Bug reports / Player stops on Headphone disconnect
« Last post by felixmueller on July 22, 2021, 07:43:28 PM »

when I disconnect my wireless headphones (e.g. AirPods), while the player is paused, it will stop the song and loose the current play position.

It would be great if the player always stayed in the pause state to be able to continue playback later. It should only stop when the stop button is pressed.

Bonus feature request: when the player is paused, it should save the play position on quit, to be able to resume playback on the next launch. This would be great for longer mix-tracks, where it is a bummer to loose the play position.

Thank you very much!

I totally missed the "double size mode" feature in the clutter bar.

Thank you very much for pointing this out.
Wishlist / Support for playback of Apple Music playlists

Hello Alexander!

I am very happy about your great player, the look and feel warms my heart and brings back great memories of my Winamp past!

Unfortunately, times are different now than they used to be and I no longer have all my music as mp3 but mainly listen to playlists and albums via Apple Music.

Since your app has thankfully been natively implemented in Swift, Apple Music integration would be possible.

I would mainly want a way to play a playlist from my Apple Music library in reAMP.

Here are a few links that might be useful:

MusicKit Example App Swift macOS:

I think Apple Music support would be a really great feature that would definitely make a lot of users happy.

Thanks a lot for your great work!

Hello Alexander, hi victorsmonster,

a scaling-feature was also my first wish when I launched the App for the first time, because it is so tiny on modern hi-res screens.

The skins will still look very nice when zoomed in. A feature to set a scale factor would be a very, very nice addition!

Thank you so much!

Wishlist / Options for larger interface?

I may be missing it, but re:amp doesn't seem to have any options for making the interface bigger. WACUP is able to double the size of the interface of classic skins for modern hi res monitors. Even better would be steps in between, like a 1.5x size.

Love having a winamp-like music player on the mac! Thanks!
